I am elated to share that, effective immediately, I will be stepping into the role of President and CEO of Redstone Agency. This comes with a grateful farewell to Carly.
After years of shared leadership, Carly has made the decision to step down from her role as CEO. Carly has been an integral part of Redstone’s journey from day one. Together, we turned a vision into reality, and her contributions have left an incredible mark on our company. While she will no longer be involved in Redstone’s day-to-day operations, her legacy is woven into the fabric of our organization.
As I step into the CEO role, I am writing this blog with a renewed sense of gratitude and vision. There is no schooling that you can take or textbook that you can read that would ever prepare you for the intensity, challenge, and triumph that is entrepreneurship. One thing I have learned for certain is that just when you master one thing, it’s time to learn something new.
I have learned that we can never underestimate the power of a strong Executive Leadership Team. With that, I am thrilled to share our powerhouse ELT comprised of the best in the business in project management, strategic planning, change management, and people leadership. Together, we are going to transform this organization with strategy and vision.
Meet our C-Suite:
We’re thrilled to announce that Kourtney Shelton, our VP of People and Culture, is stepping into the role of Chief People Officer. Kourtney is a highly respected Professor of Strategic Human Resources and Employment Law, an Author, and a public speaker. Her expertise in organizational design has been a key driver in our success over the past fourteen months. With a CHRL designation and a certification in Change Management (PROSCI), she brings over 15 years of experience, including time in academia and government, where she worked closely with boards.
We’re also excited to have Eric Nachman as our Head of Client Services and Rohit Malik as our Head of Finance.
Eric is a seasoned client services and marketing partnerships executive with over 15 years of experience working with some of Canada’s most prestigious brands. He has led high-performance teams across diverse business verticals, achieving exceptional client satisfaction through superior relationship management, process implementation, customer advocacy, and a solutions-oriented mindset. At Redstone, Eric designs the processes and workflows that create a seamless experience for our clients and their memberships, ensuring our teams operate efficiently and effectively. Eric holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from San Diego State University with a specialization in Sports Management. He previously served on the Board of the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada as Treasurer and Executive Committee member.
Rohit brings 20 years of progressive financial management experience across industries including retail, healthcare, AI/ML, and now association management. His diverse background enables him to quickly understand organizational challenges and deliver practical, sustainable solutions. At Redstone, Rohit oversees financial processes to ensure reliable management for our clients. He earned his CPA designation in 2009, completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2011, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University. Rohit is also a mentor with Futurpreneur and volunteers with CPA Ontario to support the next generation of finance professionals.
As we embark on the next chapter, I am inspired and ready for this next chapter. I am inspired by our team, our collective vision, and most of all, what we see in the future for our clients and partners.
