Redstone's Role in Driving Excellence in Education
Redstone created a modern and approachable visual identity that aligns with EWO’s values, reflects their professional, inviting, and connected community, and both resonates with their current members and helps them reach new people.
Experiential & Work-Integrated Learning Ontario, EWO (formerly Education at Work Ontario) is a provincial non-profit comprised of post-secondary, publicly-funded institutions in Ontario that offer Co-operative Education, Work-Integrated & Experiential Learning. It creates a membership-based association to allow for professional development for members and government advocacy. It shines a light on the partnership between employers, post-secondary institutions and students, creating rich value-added experiences for students prior to entering the workforce.
With a new name and expanded mandate, we set out to create a modern and approachable visual identity that aligns with EWO’s values, reflects their professional, inviting, and connected community, and both resonates with their current members and reach new people. Once we had finalized the look and feel of the brand and identity, we created a modern, fresh and insightful website that conveys their mission, that as an organization they are knowledgeable, trusted, supportive and valuable – the go-to partner for anything related to Post-Secondary, Experiential and Work-Integrated Learning. The website needed to be easy to navigate for end-users, as well as easy to manage for key stakeholders to make content changes. Using the WildApricot integration with WordPress, we created a ‘member-only’ section. Both individual members and institutions can renew and upgrade their membership, access a Member Directory, and obtain resources only available to members. Redstone curated photos and sourced images that depicted diverse, multi-ethnic students and professionals to align with the all-inclusive, sense of community that EWO stands for.
