Redstone goes back to school this fall! We are proud to announce that our CEO, and Western University alum, Carly Silberstein has been invited to teach the Event and Project Management Course this fall at Western University. Part of Western’s Continuing Studies Diploma in Public Relations, this course will provide a comprehensive look at “the total project” for events, from the planning and organizational stages to its implementation. It will focus on the phases of the project cycle, and how to maintain control of time, scope, quality and costs. Students will gain an understanding of key stakeholder roles and responsibilities, moving from planning to execution, delivering on client expectations, and how to ensure projects are closed and archived properly.
Carly graduated from Western in 2009 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Dean’s List), and went on to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Marketing & Communications in 2012. She is a devoted entrepreneur, and has years of experience leading marketing and event teams that service corporate clients, not-for-profit organizations and professional associations in a variety of industries.
Carly is excited to be returning to Western in this role and to be engaging with today’s students in order to help build a foundation for a career in event management. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and expertise of events and learning from the students.
